Now I have a blog?

Apparently?!

I recently overhauled my website (except for the “Gallery” page — I’m working on it!) and in addition to that, I’ve also been working on my very first email newsletter, “The Color Dispatch.”

Then I thought, If I’m going to have a newsletter, it might make sense to try this blog thing out. I used to be a blogger back in the day, but it’s been a loooooonnnngggg time! That was back when everyone and their dog had a blog! (Seriously, though — people had blogs for their dogs.)

Since my newsletter is launching in two days, I figured that announcing it could be my first blog post.

The Color Dispatch is a monthly newsletter, going out the first of each month. My first issue will be released on May 1st. My overall vision for my newsletters is to share news about what I’m working on, workshops, shows, and any other news related to my art life. After the first issue, I’ll have a better idea of what I’d like to do moving forward, but as this is all new, I imagine it might take a few months to get everything ironed out. If nothing else, it’s going to be an interesting experiment!
